Additionally, 70% of our readily available fresh water is locked in glacial ice, permafrost, or underground aquifers that cannot be used by humans. This therefore means that less than one percent of our planet's fresh water is easily accessible for sustainable use. It is predicted that over the next 25 years, with global water consumption doubling every 20 years, we will deplete 90% of our global fresh water reserves by 2050. Therefore, I am convinced that a Equitable distribution of water globally will help narrow the gap between rich and poor. poor countries. By equal global distribution of water, this means that all the clean water in the world will be distributed equally according to the population of each country. Through equitable global distribution of water, a developing country's economy will improve, its educational performance will increase, and the country's overall health will benefit. So how will equal distribution of water on a global scale neutralize the key elements that form the divide between a rich and a poor country?
