There is no doubt that it was summer. The blazing sun was shining. The vibrant flowers danced below. The sweet smell of summer filled the air. Juicy and delicious leaves were abundant. Lily had spent countless days having fun; lying in the sun, eating, brushing his fur and, his favorite, sleeping. During this time, she observed the raccoon how it was working so hard to prepare for winter. She made sure she had plenty of time and would get ready later. “Soon the sun will disappear,” she thought, “what’s the point of wasting these precious hours, I would rather enjoy the sun before it disappears.” And that's what she did. “Besides, I can also use this beautiful cave,” she thought of the cave she had used last year. She remembered it almost as if it were yesterday. It was pleasantly comfortable and warm. Weeks passed without her really considering her near future. A few weeks later, Lily woke up from her bed (with her consciousness returned), among the eucalyptus trees. The wind whistled loud and clear. The sun was starting to set. the leaves, once abundant, were now diminishing. Soon the leaves would fall. The Lily now realized that autumn was approaching. She was dismayed. She hadn't yet found a new home that would keep her dry and warm. The cozy little hillside cave she dreamed of was taken. She decided she would find one in the next few days. She was sure she still had time and decided. certainly to do it tomorrow. Soon the winter calls came and winter did indeed creep in. It was cold. She couldn't find food. She thought about how quickly the summer had passed. Before she could come up with reasonable ideas, she was! bothered by her two main s...... middle of paper......such despair and she felt sorry for her. He gave her an unfavorable job, that of a cleaning lady. She would be responsible for cleaning and cooking. They made a deal: “If you survive and do as I say, then you can eat the leftovers from my table.” Feeling pleased with herself, Lily smiled and hummed softly, hoping Thumper wouldn't hear. If he heard, she wouldn't hear him. I didn't know what was going to happen. She swept her house from the earth until every one of them was now out of sight. She worked hard, and the next morning, Thumper was happy with her and decided she could do it. sleeping on the floor of his living room near the door, until the cold went away. Lily survives the winter. She will continually know how to prepare at the right time. To show her gratitude to the rabbit, she promised to visit him from time to time. Lily came by, she brought a treat or a gift.
