When people think their dreams are deferred, do you think of a raisin in the sun? A Raisin in the Sun is a film based on a play written by Lorraine Hansberry. Usually people consider movies as a better option, because they are either better, better quality, better than the game/book, a preferable way, they don't need to read a book, and that's to pretty much the same thing. The film and the play have many similarities and differences. Both have to do with the same plot, but there are many differences between the film and the play as well as similarities between the film and the play. Usually movies try to take the story to a different level or adding parts or just trying to change it. to a completely different story. Some of the differences between the movie and the book are small and big differences. They might also try to remove small parts that will change the way readers perceive the characters in the story. An example of this would be Walter not smoking in the film (page 115). Walter usually smokes because he is stressed or just to relax. Walter doesn't get hit by mom either...
