    The Oakville-Milton Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing shelter for stray, abandoned and injured animals. Located in Halton Region, the Oakville-Milton Humane Society has become the region's most recognized and loving humane society. It was founded in 1936 and has since grown and developed a reliable relationship with members of the community. The shelter is funded through donations and sponsorships from community members and businesses. The Oakville-Milton Humane Society has a 13-member board of directors and nearly 50 volunteers on the ground. Using the course ideas of textual analysis and textual research approach, this research paper aims to reveal an in-depth perspective, core values, and culture of the Oakville-Milton Humane Society. Through rigorous and insightful textual analysis, I have only managed to arrive at a few credible sources providing information about the Oakville-Milton Humane Society. Given the size and importance of the shelter, credible information can only really be found from sources close to the humanitarian society. For example, the main resource was their own website, where they post annual reports, adoption reports, their mission statement, fundraising opportunities and also continually inform the community of upcoming events they will be hosting. Limited resources show that the Oakville-Milton Humane Society is striving to create a big impact in Halton Region because even though resources are limited, credible and effective resources are based on the community the shelter is trying to support .
