    When we think of a superhero, we normally think of Spiderman, Batman or Superman, but there were superheroes long before these characters were created. We must first understand that the basis of this name is hero. What is a hero? A hero is a person who does something special or extraordinary to help others. It can also be someone admired for a characteristic, whether physical or mental. These are individuals that ordinary people can admire. That being said, a superhero is nothing more than a hero, but not just once and for one person, but someone who helps many people or leads them. Over time, the number of true heroes dwindled and simply doing something for someone was no longer big news. Something more was needed to make them stand out. American culture needed someone or something to look up to and that's where our everyday superheroes came in. It gave them a goal that could never be achieved in the hopes that people would never stop trying. When you think about it, although it may be hard to believe, superheroes come from God. It began as early as the Greek gods, then leading to Jesus. Jesus was a seemingly normal man who helped everyone and led people. He was the ultimate superhero of his time.
