Introduction: Ecuadorian football is going through an economic crisis, most of the country's major clubs have declared themselves in an economic crisis. We talk a lot about late payments, the fact that financial balances are not good and that debts are much higher than what national clubs can honor. We can probably think that little by little they would approach what is currently called an "economic bubble", it is a phenomenon which occurs with an abnormal and prolonged increase in the price of an asset, such that the price moves away from the real value of the good. The negative side of this phenomenon is that it reveals itself when it explodes. It is difficult to know how an asset can really be valued, but the debt and payment capacity of clubs increase suddenly to the point of bursting the bubble. When we talk about assets, we are talking specifically about the players registered with the different clubs. in the country, and regarding the price, the values ​​​​that these assets receive for offering their services on the playing fields. Currently, as is generally known, the salaries of the stars of this sport are extremely high, so much so that it is estimated that there are players who earn between 5,000 USD and 40,000 USD per month or more, obviously overestimated salaries. In Ecuador, there is no law establishing a salary scale for professional footballers. In the law on professional footballers, which dates from 1994, it is only emphasized that clubs or teams must pay salaries at least equivalent to the minimum wage.
