Plantinga explains how someone who simply accepts what God has called us to do on his Earth is a good citizen of the kingdom of heaven. He also says that those who are passionate about God's calling on us are first-class citizens. The primary goal of all Christians is to become leading citizens. Plantinga also presents him as someone who is a leading citizen and has a vocation to bring the kingdom of God to Earth. It was a comfort and a challenge for me. It was a comfort because I felt like I had found my calling. My calling, like that of all Christians, is to advance the kingdom of God and bring it to Earth. This includes my work at JPs. Therein lies the challenge. The challenge is that I now have to try to be a leading citizen at work and everywhere I go in my life. Even if I do not speak explicitly about God or Jesus Christ, I must let my actions be proof of my primary citizenship with God.
