    From the example of Herodotus, two racial groups demonstrate their unique funeral ceremonies. While Mill would recommend examining the consequences of both funerals and recognizing similarities, such as happiness and respect, Kant would challenge Mill's argument by asking questions about the goodwill and duty of racial groups. Deontological Kant would be inclined to examine whether groups of individuals did indeed fulfill their expected duty in the situation where they were required to treat the bodies of deceased ancestors with respect.
