Students face a lot of pressure and influence in schools. Dropping out of school causes them to abandon their studies and find other ways to spend their time instead of going to school. The world is facing this problem with adolescents everywhere, and dropping out of school could have far-reaching consequences on the coming generation, whether for good or bad. Studies show that the number of students dropping out of school in Jeddah is increasing. Furthermore, school dropouts have become a major problem in Jeddah; this affected many students in different ways. First, dropping out of school caused students to mentally take unconstructive actions in their lives. To begin with, students have lost interest in school and their desires. For example, scholars began to waste their time on the streets and wander around with no other purpose than to have fun. Then these scholars were influenced by the wrong people, because the wrong influencers saw an opportunity to take advantage of these young boys. For example, Mr. Alaa Surur was a student at Forqan School, and after dropping out, Mr. Alaa became a drug addict. He got interested in it because of these bad people he started hanging out with. Finally, dropping out of school pushes them to practice illegal activities as a new way of living. Particularly, SAGE (a leading international publisher) studied this issue and found that students who dropped out of studies started burglarizing places, stealing and engaging in illegal activities to live freely. This research has proven that these actions are the result of early school leaving. For example, guys who didn't like going to school found it interesting to buy wrecked cars, then resell them after repairing them. After that, they became car dealers and began recruiting others to repair the engines and then sell them. In summary, dropping out of school does not necessarily mean being shadowed; this can be an opportunity for some to find other paths to success. Unconstructive measures, relationships with families and the search for other paths to success made students change due to the many effects resulting from dropping out of school in Jeddah. Being mentally influenced to take negative actions, families can also be linked to the reasons why students leave school without completing it.
