People seek to understand life and the events around them. When things go wrong, people turn to God for hope and understanding. As we examine the Jewish and Christian religions, both of which trace their origins beyond Abraham and Moses to the original stories of the Garden of Eden, we notice fundamental similarities and major differences between the two religions. The three main differences between Jews and Christianity lie in the concept of God, judgment and salvation. The most important difference between the two religions is the concept of God. Christianity believes that God is the Trinity, which means three persons in one: the father, the son and the Holy Spirit.
