Essay / Evolution: the destruction of humanity? - 1739
Throughout human history, humanity has considered itself the most important creation in the universe. The only thing considered superior to humanity was the gods. This is a common theme found in the history of civilizations, cultures and religions around the world. Any idea that humans were different from this or that went against that notion not only went against these respected institutions, but also against humanity itself. The theory of evolution has been one of the most revolutionary ideas put forward. He used scientific research to explain how each animal adapted to its environment. Controversy around this idea arose when Charles Darwin published his book The Descent of Man. In this book, he explains how not only animals evolved, but also how humans moved away from ancient animals. It was an ego-shattering idea. Religious leaders still deny this theory today, and for good reason. However, I don't think the main reason humanity has had such a hard time embracing this idea is that it goes against their respected religious beliefs. While this has a lot to do with it, the main reason people are so opposed to this idea is that admitting it is true admits that humans are just higher animals. While humans were the largest thing in the universe before evolution, they were now just animals that had the chance to evolve into intelligent beings. Whether we believe in the theory of evolution or not, its controversy has affected our view of the meaning of life without the greatness of our humanity. Charles Darwin, 1809-1882, is the author of On the Origin of Species. In this first book on the theory of evolution, Darwin examined and explained what different species of animals were like... middle of article...... I think someone else would have followed this theory if he had not presented it. he. The fault cannot therefore be attributed solely to Darwin. The credit for this discovery should go to humanity. Science has helped humanity understand complex problems, but as evolution shows, it only raises more questions. The way we understand ourselves and our place in the universe has changed forever. I'm sure this will change again in the future, but we will never forget and always try to hold on to our humanity.
